She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Thomas and Helen Clark, Sr. (Moffett); her husband Kevin Cooney; her children, Benjamin Magurno, Tara Cooney (Jordan O'Connor), Mary Cooney (Marc Ewing) and Helene Cooney (Joshua Bollander); her grandchildren, Ryan, Kyleigh, Christopher Magurno, Lucas Bollander, Jameson and Hudson O'Connor; her sister Michelle Marr (David Marr); her brother-in-law Theodore "Skip" Mertens; and her siblings, Linda Mertens and Thomas Clark, Jr.. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
