He is survived by: his children, Janet Stelz of Harriman, William Stelz Jr. (Cheryl Piche) of Montgomery, Walter Stelz (Sara) of Stoughton, Mass. and Edward Stelz (Laura Bracey) of New York City; his grandchildren, Michael Stelz and Ava Stelz; his sister Betty Gorney; his nieces and nephews, Kristin Gorney, Jessica Murray Buck, Megan Murray, Ryan Murray and John Murray of Hazlett, N. J.; and his daughter-in-law Kristina Stelz of Monroe, N. Y..
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Church in Monroe to repair and replace the pews / kneelers needed for the Parish.
