He was predeceased by: his father Howard B. Mitchell. He is survived by: his mother Constance Mitchell (Gerquest); his wife Mary; his son James Mitchell of Queens, NY; his brother Bruce Mitchell of Hasbrouck Heights, NJ; his siblings-in-law, Fred (Sandi) of Houston, TX, Ray of Atlanta, GA. and Dr. Denise Haberle-Kroog (John) of Bayport, NY; his nieces and nephews, John, Christopher, Zachary, Shannon and Julia; and his cousins, Dave Wilmette (Beth), Peter (Laurel) of Evanston, IL and Kate (Dave) of Mequon, WI.
