He was predeceased by: his parents, Earle Smith and Grace Smith; his wife Joyce Smith; his daughter Christine; and his brothers, Melvin and Richard Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Lemin (Bob) of Warwick, NY and Douglas (Michelle) of Morristown, NJ; his grandchildren, Kyle, Ryan and Holly Frischknecht; and his sister Evelyn of Milltown, NJ..
