He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert DeMarmels and Bridget DeMarmels; and his brothers, Albert, Gerald and Peter.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Shelly DeHaan (Chris) of Warwick, NY and Michael DeMarmels (Michelle) of Waynesboro, VA.; his sister Marie; his grandchildren, Connor, Bridget (Michael), Kieran and Ryan (Anna); and his brother-in-law Bill Doty. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
