He is survived by: his mother Edith Kovatch, (Niedworok) of Warwick, NY; his sister Karen Vermillion (Mike) of Warwick, NY; his nephew David Schermerhorn (Ashleigh); his niece Rachael Schermerhorn (Matt); his great-nieces, Madison and Charlotte Williams; and his aunts and uncles, Janie (Robert), Joan, Ray and John.
