He was predeceased by: his parents, John Scannello and Anna Scannello; his brother John Scannello; and his wife Sharon Dillion Scannello. He is survived by: his children, Wendy Desimini (Vito), Valerie Rescigno of Whitehouse Station, NJ, Joseph Scannello of Hilliard, Ohio, Robert Scannello of Jamestown, NY and Richard Scannello (Kathy) of Pine Island, NY; his grandchildren, Andrew Rescigno (Jessica), Bryanna (Noah Peebles), Matthew Desimini, Lyndsey Rescigno (Tanner Pfendner), Rachael Scannello and Justin Scannello; his daughter Megan Scannello; and his great grandchildren, Max, Milo, Kai and Dylan.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial (17 Oakland Ave, Warwick, NY 10990). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the St. Stephen RC Church (75 Sanfordville Rd, Warwick, NY 10990). A burial will be held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at the Orange County Veterans Cemetery (111 Craigville Rd, Goshen, NY 10924).
