He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Payne and Philomena Chic Payne; his wife Betty Payne; his children, Joseph Payne Jr. (Kim), John Payne (Kristie) and Julie-Anne Helmrich (Paul); his grandchildren, Joey III, Frank, Tiffany, Anthony, Victoria, Paulie and Cash; his sister Phyllis Marfino (Dan); and his sister-in-law Lilian Payne. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
