He was predeceased by: his father James Kenneth Black Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Sharon Myers Black; his children, Josephine Grace Black, James Kenneth Black IV and Katherine Jayne Black; the mother of his children Jennifer Martin; and his brother Thomas M. Black (Melissa). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
