He is survived by: his children, Nancy Begin and Jeff Vander Plaat (Marilyn); his grandchildren, Kyle, Connor (Tania), Taylor (Ashley), Meghan, Ryan (Courtney) and Erin; his great grandchild Henry; his sister Alice Oostdyk; his stepchildren, Adam Schwartz (Merav), Keri Field (Bob) and Eric Schwartz (Liz); and his stepgrandchildren, Josh, Noah, Annabel, Cameron, Bryan, Oliver, Elliott and Ainsley.
