He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Ruebenstahl and Josephine Ruebenstahl; his brother Albert Ruebenstahl; and his son-in-law Lawrence Polsky. He is survived by: his wife Marie; his children, Kevin Ruebenstahl (Amelia Altieri), Teresa Polsky and Eric Ruebenstahl (Susan); his grandchildren, Kateri, Alexander, Andrew, Dylan, Gretta and Zachary; and his brothers-in-law, George Held, Edward Held (Barbara) and Richard Held. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and several grandnieces and grandnephews.

We were so lucky to have many years of adventures with him and they just would not have been the same without him- his stories, his laugh, his root beer floats, and willingness to be up for anything.
