She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Alberto Sosa and Candida Rosa Amaro Sosa; her grandson Danny Battista; her siblings, Hilda Sosa, Elena Peña, Alfonso and Fabio Sosa; and her niece Joselyn Xiomara Sosa.
She is survived by: her daughter Judy; her son-in-law Rocco Battista of Warwick, NY; her grandchildren, Michael and Raquel; her great grandchild Sofia; and her sisters, Marina Sosa and Milagros De La Cruz. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
