With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clara Pearl Lavinski of Warwick, New York, born in Duck Hill, Mississippi, who passed away on February 23, 2023 at the age of 97. She was predeceased by: her parents, John "JC" Jones and Gertrude Shortt Jones; her husband John F. Lavinski; and her daughter Shirley Ann Holt. She is survived by: her sister Lucy Niper; her grandchildren, Stacey Holt and E. J. Holt (Melissa Smith Holt); her great grandchildren, Devon Jones (Diana Slane) and Michkaela Jones; and her great great grandchild Ariel Jade Jones.
