She was predeceased by: her mother Theresa D'Amato (Furnari). She is survived by: her father Joseph D'Amato (Provi); her husband Paul; her children, Paul Paternella III of Warwick and Joni Maree Paternella of New Paltz; and her brothers, Joseph D'Amato III, John D'Amato (Niabi) and Vincent D'Amato (Christina). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
