She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Irmgard McGinniss (Hulseberg) and Harold J. McGinniss; her husband John; her daughter Darcie Griggs; her grandson Travis Vanderpool (Brittney); her great grandchildren, Noah and Kyle Vanderpool; her son Lars Betten (Stacy); her grandchildren, Riley and Tyler; her siblings, Janice McGinniss and William McGinniss (Lynn); her sister-in-law Thanh Betten; and also Gabriel. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, private burial arrangements in Warwick Cemetery have been made.
