She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Florence Urbin (Luft) and Fred Urbin; her daughter Cheryl Karas (Paul); her grandsons, Christopher Karas and Philip Karas; her sister Nancy Auberger; her husband Joseph H. Pawelek, Sr.; her son Joseph H. Pawelek Jr.; and her brother Fred Urbin. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
