She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Hoyt and Gladys Merchant Hoyt; her husband James A. Benedict; and her siblings, Barbara Redden, Rene Schak, Betty Baker, Beverly Williams, Marie Kennedy, Harry, Carl and Rodney Hoyt.
She is survived by: her sons, James "Chip" Benedict (Karen L.) of Warsaw and Bradley "Scott" Benedict (Karen A.) of Warsaw; and her grandchildren, Michael Benedict of Warsaw, Kimberly Ackley of Warsaw and Rick Ackley (Kim) of Elma. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren and a great great grandson as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
