She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvenus Metcalf and Clara Metcalf; and her sisters, Loraine Hartman and Lavanche Parsons. She is survived by: her husband Everett Lee Palmer; her son Ted Palmer (Nancy); her great grandchildren, Ted Palmer (Martha), Kerry Palmer (Kurt Sauer), Scott Palmer (Chris Renner) and Christine Clagett (Larry); her great great grandchildren, Skye Palmer, Everett, Kellyn Norman, Rachell Dettra (Christian Dodd), Talia Klink (Emily Vandercook) and Justin Klink (Kayla); her nieces, Cynthia Pearson (Steve) and Linda Adams (Bob); and her friends, Laura, Kathy, Sheree, Rick and Jean. She is also survived by her son, grandchildren, and nieces.
The pandemic confinement was especially hard.
