She was predeceased by: her parents, John and Iva Bowen (Boorom); her husband Watson; her son James Hartway; and her siblings, Jack Bowen, Iva Caton, Marjorie Nesbitt, Rose Kitanik and Ruth Bowen.
She is survived by: her sisters, Lois Nanni of Batavia and Norma Waldron of Oakfield; and her children, Terry Hartway of Warsaw, Joanne Dickes (Frank) of Johnsonburg, Elizabeth Head (John) of Henrietta and Mary Eckstein (Mark) of Johnsonburg. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and a platoon of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Marcia to the Wyoming County SPCA, Route 98, Attica, 14011, and the Varysburg Fire and Rescue Department, Route 98, Varysburg, NY, 14167.
