Jane Ritter Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jane Ritter (Warsaw, New York), born in Buffalo, New York, who passed away on April 11, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Simons and Martha George Simons. She is survived by: her children, Diane Ritter of Michigan, John Ritter (Joanne) of Java, Danny Ritter (Donna) of Boston, MA and Julie Schallert (John) of Boston, MA; and her sisters, Joanne MacKenna (George) of Amherst, Mary Simons (Linda) of Java, Sheila Holmes (Michael) of Rushford and Patricia Dennis (Michael) of Richmond, VA. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to the Wyoming Community Hospital Foundation, 400 N. Main St., Warsaw, NY 14569.

“Jane was loved by so many, in unique and special ways. She had a wonderful irish sense of humor and yet felt things deeply. She always felt best being busy and doing things for others. Her rug braiding gave her a sense of purpose up to the end of her life. She will be missed but always have a special place in our hearts!”
