He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Wood and Emma Burbidge Wood Sr.; and his siblings, June Bliss (Norman) and Robert Wood (Kaye). He is survived by: his wife Thelma Wood of Warsaw; his children, Larry Wood (Joanne) of Minoa, NY and Barbara Humphrey (Keith) of Warsaw; his grandchildren, Jonelle Gallina (Robert) of New York City, William Wood (Jamie) of East Syracuse, Jamie Landry (Brian) of East Syracuse, Alison Hoffmann (Owen) of Endicott, Ryan Humphrey (Jenny) of Livonia and Matthew Humphrey (Heather) of Pittsford; his great grandchildren, Adrian Landry, Emmett Landry, Becca Humphrey, Kinley Humphrey, Sophie Humphrey, Brayden Humphrey, Wesley Wood, Tyler Wood, Ellie Wood and Jace Gallina; and his in-laws, Mary Lou Wood, Betty Beglinger, Jerry, Kathy Meyers, Ken and Barbara Beglinger. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home (246 N Main St, Warsaw, NY 14569). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Warsaw Rescue Squad, 40 East Buffalo Street, Warsaw, NY 14569.
