He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Hopkins and Margaret Hopkins (Dryden); his sister Barbara Giannasca; and his close friend Ethel Halpin. He is survived by: his children, Joyce Budzynski (Gary) of Depew, Darrin Hopkins (Phyllis) of Arcade, Michelle Karpinski (Christopher) of Arcade and Maurice Hopkins (Karen) of Rochester; his grandchildren, Brent Hopkins (Emma) of Cleveland, OH, Bradi Hopkins of New York City, Nolan Hopkins of Churchville, NY, Kylie Karpinski of Arcade and Liam Hopkins of Rochester; his sister Deborah Wood (late Robert) of Arcade; and his brother-in-law John Giannasca of Point Lookout, NY. He is also survived by two nieces and a nephew.
