She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Barrett and Violet Van Dorn (McNeil); her husband Donald Shade; and her sister Lee Stein. She is survived by: her children, Robin Van Dorn (Chuck), Kris Beyer (Todd), Robert Van Dorn (Evie), Julie Pries, Kathy Shade (David Adamson), Marchal Van Dorn (Kathy), Rebecca Christie (Barry) and Kim Coloney (Dan); and her brothers, Duane Barret and Robert Barrett. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren.
