He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles R. Newcomb and Aldene Cartwright Newcomb; and his brother Gary Newcomb. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Schaub Newcomb; his sons, Chad Newcomb (Brittany) of Dayton, OH and Hayden Newcomb of Conesus; his granddaughter Ava Rose; and his sister Margaret Janicki (Dave) of Lackawanna. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
