She was predeceased by: her parents, William Cortright and Mabel Cortright; her husband John; her granddaughter Carolyn Wells; and her great grandchild Noah Poteat.
She is survived by: her children, John Wells of Perry, Darlene Humel (Bruce) of Gainesville, Charles Wells of Pavilion, Arlene Lapiana (Dan Pike) of Perry and David Wells (Laura) of Graham, NC; her grandchildren, Tricia Wells (Bradley Merle), Samantha Hall (John), Adam Humel, Erika Bishop (Scott), Jenelle Lapiana, Joey Lapiana, Heather Hudson (Matthew), Jocelynne Poteat (Todd) and Branden Wells; and her great grandchildren, Hunter Court, Madison Thompson, Carter Hall and Preston Hall. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Due to Covid 19 precautions, the funeral home is limited to 33% capacity and facemasks are required.
