She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Tennyson and Mary Tennyson (Cooper); her husband Charles Tennyson, Sr.; and her son Charles Tennyson, Jr.. She is survived by: her son Jeff Tennyson (Brandy); her siblings, Marie Wood, Margaret Spinweber, Carol Beard and Marvin Tennyson; and her granddaughters, Samantha and Valerie Tennyson. She is also survived by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, many friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Moreau EMS or The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
