She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Smith and Mary Smith (Pierson); and her son John Michael Leddick Jr.. She is survived by: her husband John Michael Leddick; her children, Vincent Edward, Tonya Leddick (Combs), Christopher Leddick and Michelle Howland (Tyler Peter); her grandchildren, Michael Vincent, Kerri Leddick (Murphey), Danielle Leddick, Ryan Leddick (Mike De Socio), Tessa (Leddick), Joshua Kilmartin, Johna Mae Howland, Timothy Michael Howland (Victoria Glover), Anna Howland, Zayne Leddick and Asia Leddick; her great grandchildren, Luca Quagliana, Declan Quagliana, Aurora Quagliana and Ayla Kilmartin; and her siblings, Edwin James Smith, Joseph Smith, Deborah (Smith) and Gary Clark. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations in Rita's name to the North Country Hardship Fund or the Alzheimer's Association.
