She was predeceased by: her parents, Jasper Putnam and Sylvia Ellithorpe Putnam; her husband Elmer Buyce; her siblings, Doris Putnam Lasselle, Elsie Putnam Allen and Wayne Putnam; and her nephew James Allen.
She is survived by: her brother Jay Putnam; her nieces and nephews, Linda Lasselle Baker, Sally Lasselle Grigg, Richard Lasselle, Carolyn Putnam Lowrey, Jeff Putnam, Mark Putnam, David Allen, Walter Allen, Joe Allen, Diana Allen Caswell, Casey Putnam and Margaret Putnam Williamsen; her niece-in-law Cathy Allen; and also, Joan, Dede Harris and Terry Beadnell.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Thurman Baptist Church.
