It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doug Olcott (Warrensburg, New York), born in Ticonderoga, New York, who passed away on February 3, 2024, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Ida Jordon (Stacy) and Jeff Jordon; his siblings, Kim Bayer (Volker), Danny Olcott (Wedma), Shawn Olcott (Kim), Shannon Olcott (Laura) and Jason Jordon (Joanne); and his nieces and nephews, Dakotah Olcott, Mersadie Olcott, Troy Olcott, Derek Bayer, Travis Jordon, Hunter Jordon, Jeffrey Jordon, Connor Olcott and Emily Olcott.

“I’m only 16 years old and worked my first job last summer at Bluwater with Doug also working there. I learned a lot from Doug and he was a very kind man who knew how to put a smile on anyone’s face and cheer u up. I will always remember our long conversations about golf and fantasy football on the slow days. I was supposed to go golfing with Doug last summer and just never got the chance to because I was busy. I already miss Doug so dearly and the great person he was.”
