He is survived by: his parents, Richard Monroe and Cora Monroe (Raymond); his son Rick (Mickey Monroe); his grandsons, Zachary Monroe (Jen) and Nicholas Monroe; his siblings, Dorothy Fish, Ada Cleveland and Bernard Monroe (Bonnie); and also, Donald Monroe and Arnold "Bambi" Monroe (Margaret). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
