He was predeceased by: his sister Marilyn Fieldson (Curley). He is survived by: his spouse Faye Kopenhaver; his children, Edward Hornung (Jane), Steve Hornung (Mary Harrison) and Lynda Gies (Don); his grandchildren, Melissa Armour (John), Suzanne Muente (Kirk), Scott Hornung, Robert Hornung (Allie) and Gwendolyn Gies; his great grandchildren, Kyla Muente, Adelina Armour and Emmeline Armour; and his brother Robert Hornung (Kay).

Memorial donations in his name can be made to the Animal Shelter of Schoharie Valley, Inc., P.O. Box 40, Howes Cave, New York 12092.
