He was predeceased by: his parents, Jan Michalkow and Helena Michalkow (Dobies); his wife Janina "Jasia" (Pogorzelski); and his siblings, Jan Michalkow and Krystyna Kutta.
He is survived by: his sons, Christian, Johnny (Dawn) of Lakeland and Nicholas of Charlotte, NC; his grandchildren, Anastasia, Nikolete, Tyler, Austin and Alex; and his siblings, Fabian (Maria) of Brewerton, Barbara Rataj of Poland and Ula Tryczak of Poland. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
