He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Sterling and Elizabeth Sterling (Lewis); and his brother William T Sterling. He is survived by: his children, Brenna Borgognoni (John) of Mt. Vernon, WA, Kara Bach (Anthony) of McHenry, IL and Christopher Sterling (Michelle) of Warners, NY; his brother Rhys Sterling (Joyce) of Pullman, WA; his grandchildren, Sean Sterling, Amelia Sterling, Kendra Borgognoni, Trenton Borgognoni and Adalyn Bach; and his family, Jan, Rick, Laurel, Billy, Jim, Mark, Becky, Danielle and Marie. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the J. Homer Ball Funeral Home, Inc. (201 James St, Canastota, NY 13032). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
