In loving memory of Robert M. Blake of Wappingers Falls, New York, born in Brooklyn, New York, who departed this world on November 7, 2024 at the age of 91. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Blake and Hanora Blake; his siblings, Elizabeth Blake, Patricia Cregg (Bernie), Daniel Blake (Joan), Kevin Blake (Tina) and Regina Guastaferro (Angelo); and his siblings-in-law, Desi Blake, Joe D'Amico, Bill Rath and Santa Mae Theysohn (Jack).
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary; his grandchildren, Erin Mukundan, Kristen Griffiths (Kevin), Daniel Wiegard, David Wiegard, Brian Wiegard, Connor Blake, Caitlyn Blake, Hannah Blake (Ryan Duever), Kelly Blake and Jacqueline Wiegard; his great grandchildren, Ryan, Maya, Devan Mukundan and Aria Griffiths; his siblings, Joseph Blake, Miriam Blake, Eileen D'Amico and Barbara Rath; his brother-in-law Joseph Benigno (Barbara); and also, Robert, Linda Blake of Endicott, NY, Michael Blake of Wappingers Falls, NY, Thomas, Gail Blake of Austin, TX, David, Holly Blake of Newark, DE, Kathleen and Harold Wiegard of Farmington, CT.. He is also survived by his four sons and one daughter.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc. (895 NY-82, Hopewell Junction, NY 12533). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 9:45 AM at the St. Columba Church (835 NY-82, Hopewell Junction, NY 12533). A burial will be held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the St. Peter Cemetery (171 Salt Point Turnpike, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Bob's name to the American Heart Association or St. Jude's Research Hospital.
