He is survived by: his parents, George Gardner and Lucille Gardner (Glover); his spouse Patricia O'Shea; his children, Joy Hynes of Kingston, Reginald Gardner Jr. of Kingston, Monique Schaeffer of Kingston and Kimberly Oepen of Lake Wiley, SC; his grandchildren, Gunnar, Brianna, Devon and Shelby; his great grandchild Hunter; his siblings, George Gardner, Ellie Gardner and Jewell Turner; and his pets, Breezy and Rescue Foundation. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and his beloved animals.
