Melva Mae Laffin Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melva Mae Laffin of Wappingers Falls, New York, who passed away on September 9, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Foley and Melva Foley (Sutton); her significant other Morris V. Laffin, Jr.; her brother Leonard Foley of Millerton, NY; and her siblings-in-law, Mary McDonald (Betty), Peter McDonald of Wappingers Falls, NY. and Anne Laffin of Hyde Park, NY.
She is survived by: her siblings, Joyce Foley of Wappingers Falls, NY and Roger Foley; her siblings-in-law, Devon of Highland, NY, Carol Foley of Millerton, NY., Richard Laffin of Hyde Park, NY, Gerald Laffin and Rosanne of Delray Beach; her son Michael Laffin (Betty Jean) of Hopewell Junction, NY.; her grandson Brett Laffin (Teresa); and her great grandchild Aubrie of Hyde Park, NY.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Delehanty Funeral Home (64 E Main St, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary R. C. Church (11 Clinton St, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590).
