She was predeceased by: her parents, Donato Gemmati and Matilde Gemmati; her brother Pierio (Tony Gemmati); her siblings-in-law, Elio Vecchiarelli (Ezio Baldassarre), Alida Gemmati and Lorraine Milanese; and her niece Elsa Falco.
She is survived by: her husband Antonio Milanese; her daughters, Barbara Phillips (Tommy) and Adriana Milanese (John Beck); her grandchildren, Christina Schupp (Erich), James Phillips and Anthony Phillips (Sara); her great grandchildren, Dean, Matthew and Theo; her siblings, Gino Gemmati (Cathy), Lucy Vecchiarelli and Kathy Spadaro (Vinny Spadaro); and her sisters-in-law, Rosa Gemmati, Anna Baldassarre and Lella Gemmati. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Church, 11 Clinton St., Wappingers Falls, NY 12590 in honor of Maria Vita Milanese.
