He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald M. Dickson and Elizabeth Dickson (Saxouer); his sister Janet Jurgensen; his daughter-in-law Joan Ruddy; and his former wife Edith Kaluza Dickson.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Nisbet Waddle; his children, Carla Thorpe (Gerry), Joann Weed (John) and Steve Dickson; and his stepdaughters, Melissa Bottini (Brian) and Catherine Mahone. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
