With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Carol P Fairey of Wappingers Falls, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Carol left this world on January 15, 2025 at the age of 79, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Peterson and Olga Dockery Peterson; and her brother-in-law William Scales. She is survived by: her husband Alan Ross Fairey; her sons, Alan Wesley Fairey (Jacquelyn) of Chapel Hill, NC, Evan Kyle Fairey (Kathryn) of Lewis Center, OH and David Harold Fairey of Wappingers Falls, NY; her grandchildren, Gideon Thomas Fairey, Jayden Michael Fairey, Norah Jane Fairey, Mekhai Ross Fairey, Mason Ross Fairey and Carol; and her sisters, Lynn Eldridge (Robert) of Meriden, CT, Joanne Scales of New Haven, CT and Kathy Tatum (Michael) of Stafford, VA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, neighbors, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Faith Assembly of God (25 Golf Club Ln, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601). Viewing will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fishkill Rural Cemetery (801 US-9, Fishkill, NY 12524).
