We are sad to announce that on March 26, 2025, at the age of 91, Theresa M. Andersen of Wantagh, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Theresa's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Theresa has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Walter C., Jr.; her children, Christine Martin (Stephen), John Andersen (Randi) and Walter; her grandchildren, Theresa Lopes (Filipe), Elyse McHugh (Kyle), Charles Martin (Alexa), Erica Andersen and Jeffrey Andersen (Carolyn Becker); her great grandchild Olivia June; and her son Bedford Ave.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Clair's. Bartholomew & Son, Inc. (302 Bedford Ave, Bellmore, NY 11710). A Mass was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Barnabas R. C. Church (2320 Bedford Ave, Bellmore, NY 11710). A burial was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Calverton National Cemetery.
