We bid farewell to Michael J. Montross of Wantagh, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 14, 2025 at the age of 61. Michael touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid adieu to Michael's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Michael has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his father William; his significant other Jennifer Grego; and his siblings, Billy Montross (Sun), Teri LoNigro (late Steve), Sue Hall (late Jim) and Linda Karwowski (Paul).
He is survived by: his mother Frances Montross of Hernando, FL; his sister-in-law Maureen May (Pete); and his godchildren, Kelly Rios, Kevin Hall and Michelle Karwowski. He is also survived by nephews, five vibrant nieces, as well as three devoted nephews-in-law and his compassionate niece-in-law.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Memorial Massapequa Funeral Home, North Chapel (1050 Park Blvd, Massapequa Park, NY 11762).
