She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Eddy and Anne Bradley Eddy; her former husband Roland A. Chenel; her brother James Eddy; and her stepson Tommy Chenel.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Chenel Scaman (Steve) of Kansas, Deborah Savage (Rick) of Florida, Melissa Chenel Zizzi of Oriskany, Bruce Chenel of Canastota, William Chenel (Julie) of Texas, Steven Chenel of Wampsville and Valarie Chenel Thayer of North Carolina; her siblings, Dolores Eddy of Florida and Karl Eddy of Florida; and her stepdaughter Jeannie Goldsmith of Albany. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
