He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernst Peters and Johanne Peters; his brother Joachim Peters; and his grandson Johan Peters. He is survived by: his wife Ingeborg; his sons, Walter, Richard (Kathy) and William; his sister Barbel Horber (Ewald); his sister-in-law Henny Peters; and his grandchildren, Greta Peters, Ava and Ryan Peters. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
