We are sad to announce that on April 5, 2021, at the age of 55, Michael D. Moore of Walton, New York, born in Oneonta, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret Moore (Sampson). He is survived by: his father Richard J. Moore; his sisters, Kathleen Moore, Margot Cairnes (Michael), Alison Moore and Susan Moore; and his nieces and nephews, Margaret Cairnes, Connor Cairnes, Killian Cairnes and Liam Cairnes.

“I was so sorry to hear this news. I first met Michael working at Park Street as a Sub. I saw him many times during his visits with Kathy and got to know him. We had the same birthday. He was funny, sweet& kind. Also a Great Big Brother to Kathy.. I was so shocked & saddened to hear this. Just tell the ones you love every day how much you love them . I wish I could say something like he’s at peace now but I have no words. I think of his family, His Sister Kathy who looked forward to his visits.”
