Frances S Watson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances S Watson of Walton, New York, who passed away on April 18, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Schlafer and Gladys Rogers Schlafer; her husband Stephen C. Watson; and her siblings, Rebecca Simpson Layton, Joyce Williams, Kathleen Benson, Cecil Schlafer and Ross Schlafer.
She is survived by: her daughter Stephanie Ann Watson; her son-in-law Daniel Alexander; her grandchildren, Matthew and Zoe Alexander; her sister Leona Poulin (John); her sisters-in-law, Nina Schlafer and Diana Klein; and her friends, Cindy Peterson and Patricia Knapp. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Walton United Presbyterian Church (58 East St, Walton, NY 13856). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
