He is survived by: his wife LaVonne Oliver of Walton; his children, Matthew Barnes (Jessica) of Walton, Nicholas Barnes (Brandi) of Delhi, Jared Barnes of Delhi, Angela Mitchell of Bainbridge, Stephanie Mitchell (John) and Thomas Mitchell (Breanna) of Albany; his grandchildren, Samantha, Olivia, MacKenzie, Maddison, Haven, Alyssa, Charisma, Nick Jr., Tyler, Braylynn, Ava, Lexi, Aubrey, Jaxon, Johnny and Jade; his siblings, Mark Barnes of Walton and Serena Tompkins (Jim) of Walton; his niece Sheena; his nephews, Dustin, Ethan, Jesse and Raylan; and his close friend Andrew "Pug" Mackle.
