He is survived by: his wife Sally Alvarez (Gavett); his children, Jessica Alvarez and Toby Alvarez (Meredith); his siblings, Esther Mendoza (Henry), Linda Herrera (Humberto) and Pedro Alvarez Jr. (Kevin McNulty); his grandchildren, Paige and Trevor Alvarez; his sister-in-law Robyn Alvarez (Van Vleet); his uncles, Pascual Galvez (Barbara) and Jose Alvarez; and his aunt Sofia Diaz. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and cousins.
