She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold M. Parkyn and Helen Knapp Parkyn; her siblings, Phyllis Parkyn and Harold Parkyn; and her brother-in-law David Hammar.
She is survived by: her husband George; her son Andrew Strauser (Denise) of Lords Valley, PA; her grandson Evan Strauser; and her sister Deborah Hammar of Virginia.
