She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Hochteil and Mildred Goldman Hochteil; her husband Nicholas Runowich Jr.; her sisters, Sue, Ann and Henrietta; and her friend Ann Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Dorothy "Dottie" Miller of Gastonia, NC, Catherine Kennedy (Rick) of Walden, Carl Runowich, Gail Mott of Montgomery, Irene Van Deusen (Lee) of Ely, MN and Nicholas Runowich III (Michelle) of Lexington Park, MD; her grandchildren, Sarah Van Deusen (Joseph), Amanda McNeill (Charles) of Wallkill, Colleen Runowich and Michael Kennedy; her great grandchildren, Aiden, Tyler and Wyatt McNeill; and her brother Jeff Hochteil (Marie). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
