He was predeceased by: his parents, George Heinsman and Margaret Heinsman (Calamano); his wife Betty Phelan; and his brothers, George and Edward.
He is survived by: his sons, Ray Heinsman (Jane) of Wallkill, NY, Doug Heinsman (Elaine) of Port Jervis, NY and James Heinsman (Barbara) of New Paltz, NY; his sister Peggy Jacobsen; and his grandchildren, Ray, Mark, Jen, Michael, Stephen, Matthew and Jay. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations in Raymond's name can be made either to the Modena Fire and Rescue, 1953 Rt. 44-55, Modena, NY 12548; or the Hudson Valley Hospice, 374 Violet Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY, with many thanks from his family.
